Rome Hates You

The next steps moving forward.

There is so much going on at the macrolevel—and it’s trickling down to your local level very steadily and rapidly.

First thing’s first: I want to reiterate here and now that we are leaving our high-trust society. The last burning embers of our previous Age of Courtesy and Mercy are giving way to a new age of brutality. An “Age of Judas”, as I’ve also called it. Or even an “Age of Treachery.”

Failure in the United States

Let’s reflect on some sad truths. Ever since I converted, the Catholics around me always said that America was still “missionary territory.” And yet, throughout my post-Conciliar life, the Church has not shown any kind of an urge or commitment to convert this country. They just let America lie in its own problems.

And yet, meanwhile, the United States is the strongest territory in the world where the Traditional Catholic movement has taken root. So, certainly, someone in the United States Catholic Church is taking The Great Commission seriously—and it isn’t the current management. It’s the Society who’s stepped up to the plate and has been carrying the water and doing what the Synodal Church has no interest in doing. It’s the SSPX who’s taken evangelization seriously among a people desperate for Truth.

The United States had such potential, but Satan and those cooperating with him made sure to stamp out the embers of any great conversion. Religious leaders who love you do not do this sort of thing to you—instead, apathy and neglect are the hallmarks of those who don’t love you at all.

Demonic Hate for Latin

And speaking of vindictiveness and hate, let’s call our attention to one more thing: so many prelates really HATE the Latin Mass. And to that, I say only this: who else in the cosmos hates Latin? Who else squirms and shrieks when the high language of Christ’s Church is uttered?

Answer: demons.

At exorcisms, the demons respond the most to a proper ritual spoken in the Latin tongue. And this is because God baptized and bequeathed Rome to His people. The Eternal City is ours, and the Roman Empire and its Latin language—the language that once carried Caesar’s decrees throughout the known world—was taken captive by Christ and made to carry His Gospel to the ends of the Earth. The demons would much rather have us barking orc-speak than use the sacred, elevated tongue.

The demons would rather have us offering God the “sacrifice of Cain.” And they hate all of those goodie-two-shoes who offer the “sacrifice of Abel.” How strange and “coincidental” is it, then, that the Synodal Priesthood has that in common with those demons? You’d think that’d be unsettling, but the Synodal Priesthood appears quite comfortable in their position.

“Stay in or leave, but don’t do the right thing”

The Modernists who usurped Rome want you to do either one of two things: either #1. You give up on Catholicism because you’ve been so demoralized that you abandon it, or #2. You join their globohomo NGO machine. Either you champion pluralism, polytheism, sodomy, and efficacy, or you leave.

What they DON’T want you to do is to become a more purified Catholic. They don’t want you praying in Latin, reading the Bible, reading about the saints, or learning history. They do not want you to distill into some sort of an ultra-Catholic and join up with groups of other refined, Catholic-concentrated groups whom they hate—such as the SSPX and others.

It’s either stay in the Synodal New World Religion or quit. Do not dare become a “super Christian.”

You’re gonna have to eventually see that the emperor has no clothes.

And so we see that they are punishing the actual Catholic faith more and more every day, and they are introducing and exhausting options derived from every other religion. But the Catholicism of your ancestors has to go. And they’ll even use your own Catholic vocabulary words as they do this to you. Yes, as they sit in their usurped juridical spaces, they will use the legalese of the Church—but the words will have different meanings when they use those words.

So, perhaps you go to a diocesan unicorn parish that is still allowed to have the Latin Mass. (You know…what we once called Catholicism.) Or maybe you go to an FSSP parish. And you have new people coming in from the 60-year-old Synodal Church to your TLM parish, and they’re just thankful to have finally found a place where authentic Christianity is in practice. More often than not, these people will be extremely hesitant to admit things. Like tip-toeing through a landmine, these newbies will not criticize what they just escaped. Thrilled to be in more friendly territory, they will still be too timid to challenge their tormentor, and they won’t say too many bad things about their former Novus Ordo parish.

Still even less, neither these newbies nor any of the regulars at your “approved” “Ecclesia Dei” parish will dare to say out loud after Mass that Bergoglio and Prevost could never be popes, are not Catholics, and that they are apostates at worst and heretics at best. Hardly anyone in your “Summorum Pontificum parish” dares admit any of this. The evidence that we are suffering under a regime of anti-Catholic antipopes is clear as crystal, but no one is willing to say the emperor has no clothes.

And yet, that is what is required to break the spell.

Being able to call out this obvious thing—that we’ve now had two successive antipopes—is crucial because Catholics must realize that they have been obeying a man possessing no papal authority at all. People must realize that this was not the case of a legitimate-but-erring pope, but instead, Bergoglio and Prevost were usurping impostors. False teachings, laws, appointments, censures, and commands are being treated like solemn edicts that bind the faithful. They do not. For thirteen years, we’ve beheld the executive decisions of liars. Refusing to confront this fraud empties the papacy of meaning, as this “peace-at-any-price” crowd continue to hold onto actual Catholicism while the not-pope’s official teachings and actions are rejected.

Only a correct diagnosis can preserve Catholicism and determine how the faithful should act in the present crisis.

But there is also another problem.

It’s not just about the TLM or antipopes.

More than all of this, there is an overall 30,000-foot view that you must realize amidst this pandemonium. And the recent SSPX fake excommunications demonstrate this more clearly as every day passes. What you must realize is this: that you have two religions here.

-One of the religions is Catholicism. The other religion is not-Catholicism.
-One of these two movements is The Church. The other faction is the anti-Church.
-One of these organizations fosters the Mass of the Ages. The other harbors the Abomination of Desolation.

Perhaps it is true that you could remain ignorant for the past sixty years, thinking there was some “hermeneutic of continuity” that tied you and the other body to each other. But these days, even Rome’s own priests are publicly stating that they are starting a new religion. And for them, their new religion—the Synodal Church—isn’t two thousand years old. It is only as old as Vatican II. For these evil prelates and thieves, “Catholicism” has only existed for six decades. Rome’s religion is a new religion, and everything before their revolution at Vatican II is alien to them.

And this is why they are rolling out loyalty oaths.

The Second Vatican Council was supposed to be a great, anti-Communist meeting where they declared Mary to be the Mediatrix of all Graces. Now? Now, the official Vatican stance is that it is always inappropriate to regard Mary as the Co-redemptrix—even though multiple popes have referred to Our Lady as such over and over throughout history. The original schemas of the Second Vatican Council were tossed into the trash. What we got instead was a multi-stage time bomb.

And that time bomb has gone off. And the result is clear. With this SSPX excommunication, it is now excommunicable to be Catholic in the Synodal Church. It is a great cleaving. And this big cut doesn’t just run between the Society and Rome. This slice even divides the Traditional Catholic world.

In Traddyland, on one side stand those who think we’re just stuck in a polycrisis of unfortunate accidents: bad bishops, weak catechesis, liturgical abuses, ambiguous documents, and the occasional wicked pope. That’s all! On the other side of this divide stands those who’ve correctly concluded that the problem is systemic—that Vatican II inaugurated another religion, universally imposed through its new liturgy, its new canon law, its new catechism, its ecumenism, its religious liberty, and its new understanding of the Church.

That is the reality. It’s not just TLM vs Bogus Ordo. It’s not just SSPX versus FSSP. And it’s not even about antipopes—bad as that is. The question is whether we are still dealing with one religion…or two.

You’re being attacked by a new religion.

This is precisely the question that “accommodationists” don’t want discussed. They’d rather bury us under a thousand technicalities: whether the Society waited long enough, whether Father Pagliarani used “a proper tone,” whether every canonical formality was observed, whether another letter should have been written, or another meeting requested.

All of this stalling and time wasting evades the central issue: why were the SSPX bishops consecrated in the first place? I’ll answer that right now: the Society acted because it believes the Catholic Faith cannot survive beneath authorities who demand acceptance of false doctrines and disciplines. Rome was never going to grant them bishops who’d dare to condemn the religion of Vatican II. The question, therefore, isn’t whether the SSPX filled out the “correct paperwork.” Rather, the question is what religion that paperwork would have required them to embrace.

To put it even more clearly: what religion are they being excommunicated from?

Pope Benedict XVI’s old hermeneutic-of-continuity notion can no longer save the conservatives. Ratzinger—one of Vatican II’s architects—was wrong. There is no “hermeneutic of continuity,” and you can’t legitimately carry on some new regime with a munus pope and a ministerium pope. These are delusions.

Perhaps sixty years ago one could pretend that Vatican II contained only a handful of unfortunate ambiguities awaiting an orthodox interpretation. Clearly now, however, those ambiguities have long since been interpreted for us by six decades of bent papal teaching, brand new universal laws, questionable sacramental disciplines, ambiguous catechisms, bad episcopal appointments, and institutional persecution. Rome showed us what Vatican II meant by the way it enforced it.

Approved Trad enclaves may have preserved the old Mass for a time, but only on the condition that they remain silent about the Modernist Revolution surrounding them. They could have their side altar—but only provided they never denounce the temple in which it stands.

Now the mask is falling. Men you trusted who spent years attacking Francis, lamenting Amoris Laetitia, condemning religious indifferentism, and bewailing the destruction of the Church—suddenly these guys discovered an absolute duty of obedience when the Synodal authorities turn their weapons upon Tradition. These confused pundits reject the fruits of the new religion, but at the same time they’ll defend the men and institutions producing those fruits, all to the detriment of you and your community.

This contradiction that we see with Trad Inc. cannot survive much longer. The SSPX excommunications have forced the issue into the open: What do you believe? Which religion is yours? Which altar do you approach? Whose sacrifice is Cain’s and which one is Abel’s? Who is Catholic—and who isn’t? That is the great cleaving now underway.

And addressing this grand question is the next step in breaking the spell that you’re under.
